About Me
Hi, I'm Caroline, your local qualified, friendly cat-lady and the owner of The Cat's Pyjamas!

I care for your fluffy family and your home whilst you're away, providing as much love and care as if they were my own.
​
I have been a cat-mum for almost my whole life and have lots of experience in looking after them and other animals, in addition to animal care and welfare qualifications.

I understand that every pet is different in terms of needs, wants and tolerances. I have experience looking after elderly pets and I know how important it is to provide stress-free and pain-free care to set your mind at ease. Several of my fluffy Clients are elderly and require gentle care, medication, and lots of love.

I am DBS checked, professional and trustworthy.
I am insured through the 'Cat in a Flat' service, which I use as a booking system.

Pet & Home Services
Caring for your pets, home and garden
My standard services include visiting once or twice a day to feed and water, clean trays; and provide much-needed companionship whilst you are away, according to your instructions.

I am more than happy to provide cuddles, tickles and belly rubs, but only if your pet likes these.
Enrichment is also very important for pets, so I'm happy to offer playtime and food games if these are part of your pet's routine. Or I can assess your furry friend when we meet - they'll usually tell me what they like and dislike.

Additional services include additional cats, small furries, medication and garden care, as detailed below.

Meet & Greet
A visit to your house to meet you and your fluffy family and discuss their and your needs, prior to a first booking

Cat Sitting: 1 visit per day
1 visit, usually afternoon/ evening
For up to 3 cats
Feeding, cleaning, cuddling, grooming, playtime, or whatever your cat wants
Photos and updates of how your fluffies are getting on
Tidy post and water a few houseplants
£15
Peak times are charged at 15% extra (e.g. school holidays) or 50% extra (bank holidays).

Mileage - over 5 miles away from me is charged at 45p per mile.
Cat Sitting: 2 visits per day
2 visits - morning and evening
For up to 3 cats
Feeding, cleaning, cuddling, grooming, playtime or whatever your cat wants
Photos and updates of how your fluffies are getting on
Tidy post, water houseplants, open and close curtains, run the TV, radio or lights, etc

Peak times are charged at 15% extra (e.g. school holidays) or 50% extra (bank holidays).

Mileage - over 5 miles away from me is charged at 45p per mile.

Depending on the number of cats and their needs, I may charge a little extra, which we can discuss when we meet.
Medication
If your furry friend needs medication, I can administer in food, via subcutaneous injection, or orally, to well-behaved pets

If there is a lot of medication to give, or it is particularly challenging, I may charge a little extra, but will discuss this with you beforehand
Garden Care
Watering of outdoor plants whilst you are away
Greenhouses, pots, hanging baskets etc
From £1 per day, depending on size or quantity

No peak fees apply for this service
Small Furries
Small pet mammals, such as rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters
Feeding, cleaning, cuddling, and playing, as required by your small furries
I can also look after chickens and other feathered and scaly/slithery pets
